PRIOR KNOWLEDGE
Reading the RYA VHF radio booklet
G22/02 is recommended - this may be
purchased from Hayling Sea School.
Knowing the
phonetic alphabet,
channel allocation and the
mayday format will help.
CERTIFICATION
Direct to the RYA via HSS on successful
completion of the course. Please bring a
passport photograph and a cheque made
payable to the RYA for £25.00 per
person.
There is no external examination but you
need to demonstrate competence in
resuscitation.
